Fall/Winter/Spring Schedule
Academic Playgroup Series
$225 per child (please call for early registration discount deadline)
- The 10-week Fall session runs from September 6 through November 21, 2008
- The 10-week Winter session runs from January 10 through March 27, 2009
- The 8-week Spring session runs from April 4 through May 29, 2009
Communication & Socialization
Focus is on language skills and gaining confidence in social situations. Fun, motivating group activities teach social cues to help children interact functionally with each other. Clear and consistent communication cues in structured adult directed activities teach the functional use of language intended to help children communicate their needs effectively and begin to understand social cues and expectations.
Wednesdays:
- 8:00 - 8:45am – 24 to 36 months
- 9:00 – 9:45 am – 12 to 24 months
- 10:00 – 10:45 am – 3 to 5 years
Arts & Fine Motor
Focus is on fun art activities that help a child learn functional fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination – and provide a child with tools to develop creativity and self-expression. Coloring, cutting/pasting, playdough sculpture, and many other creative activities are planned.
Mondays:
- 8:00 - 8:45am – 24 to 36 months
- 9:00 – 9:45 am – 12 to 24 months
- 10:00 – 10:45 am – 3 to 5 years
Music & Movement
Focus is on group sing-alongs using gestures, words, and synchronized movement in a fun, activity-filled session. Your child will sing, stomp his feet, clap his hands, jump, skip, hop – combining music with movement for motor coordination, language skills, and fun!

- 9:00 - 9:45am – 24 to 36 months
- 10:00 – 10:45 am – 12 to 24 months
- 11:00 – 11:45 am – 3 to 5 years
